SAN JOSE -- Flextronics today announced fiscal third-quarter sales of $7 billion, down from $7.2 billion a year ago but ahead of the high end of previous guidance.
Net income for the period ended Dec. 31 was $152.9 million, up from $145.2 million last year.
"The Flextronics team continues to deliver on our core innovation strategies and initiatives, allowing us to achieve our financial targets," said Mike McNamara, chief executive at Flextronics. "We reported solid results across our business groups."
The company said fiscal fourth quarter revenue is expected to be $6.0 billion to $6.4 billion.
