SANTA CLARA, CA -- A pair of longtime SMT and semiconductor experts will present on local SMT and IC package services at an upcoming meeting of the IEEE CPMT Silicon Valley chapter.

Phil Marcoux and Tom Clifford say the topic has emerged from experiences over the past year with various startups that spend ample money and time trying to develop complex products using emerging technologies such as 2.5D, 3D or HDI PCBs, only to find disappointment because they chose the wrong supplier, don't understand what they need, or were sold a bill of goods.

The talk takes place at the April 23 chapter lunch.
