NEW YORK – Three US-based contract assemblers made the latest Inc. Magazine list of the fastest-growing private companies.
Coming in at No. 1685 was Firstronic, which grew 241% over the years 2011 to 2014, reaching $27.8 million in revenue. Optimum Design Associates grew 101% over the past three years to $18 million, good for No. 3299 on the list. And EBW Electronics grew 67% to $33.4 million and ranked no. 4171 overall.
“We are very pleased to get this further recognition of the success of our business formula,” said John Sammut, Firstronic’s CEO and president, in a press release. “I am very thankful to our team who has worked tirelessly to maintain our growth momentum. I am also appreciative of the business our customers have given us along with the responsiveness we’ve received from our supply chain. This is a significant honor that would not have been possible without that combined support.”
The average company on the 2015 Inc. 5000 achieved three-year aggregate growth of 490%. This is the 34th year the magazine has compiled the list. Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. They also had to be US-based, privately held, for profit, and independent.
