ALPHAVILLE, BRAZIL – ASM Assembly Systems has inaugurated its Brazil headquarters, offering a tour and demonstrations to guests.

The facility comprises a demo and training center, equipped with a Siplace SX placement machine, a DEK Horizon printer, and related productivity software.

During the event, ASM presented on bare die applications, printing and dispensing. Jeff Timms, CEO of ASM Americas, talked about the areas of electronics assembly ASM now covers. Mark Ogden, marketing manager, focused on trends in end-products, component technology and manufacturing processes that will drive the electronics assembly industry in the future. Company applications engineers demonstrated DEK and Siplace equipment, process work flows, and provided a tour of the new facility.

Regular free training classes for customers will be scheduled for printers and placement equipment and associated programming and vision systems.
Manufacturers will also be able to use the new facility for applications development.
