NEW YORK -- API Technologies reported a third-quarter net loss of $6.3 million on revenue of $68 million.

The net loss for the period ended Aug. 31 rose from $634,000 a year ago despite an increase in sales from $56.9 million in the year-ago quarter.

Adjusted EBITDA was $9.9 million, or 14.6% of revenue. GAAP gross margin as a percentage of sales was 26.5% for the quarter.

API makes components and provides electronics manufacturing services.
