SVI Public Co. Posts Q3 Revenues Down 11%

PATHUMTANI, THAILAND – SVI Public Co. Ltd. reported third quarter 2015 consolidated revenues of $66 million, down 11% year-over-year, and up 2% sequentially.
The firm attributes the decrease in revenues to the manufacturing disruption caused by a Nov. 12, 2014, fire. The electronics manufacturer says it has returned to pre-fire capacity.
Consolidated net profit for the quarter was $4 million, down 67% compared to the same period in 2014. Consolidated operating profit was $7.1 million, a decrease of 14.9% year-over-year.
