CRANSTON, RI – AIM Solder's UK subsidiary has acquired Geo. W. Neale, a UK-based provider of soldering materials for various industries.

Neale will continue to operate under its current business name as wholly owned subsidiary of AIM Solder UK. Other terms were not disclosed.

AIM, Neale and the previously acquired Summit Solder Products will relocate to a single manufacturing facility on Jan. 1. The new address is Unit 2/3 Sedgewick Road, North Luton Industrial Estate, Luton, United Kingdom LU4 9DT.

The move will improve quality and lead times for new and existing industrial customers, AIM said.

“We are very pleased about the acquisition of Geo. W. Neale Limited,” said Ron Sabourin, AIM’s industrial business manager. “This acquisition and consolidation, in addition to recent expansions in Europe, are further proof of AIM’s dedication to this important market.”

Neale manufactures a range of soldering products, white metals, centrifugal and hand casting alloys for electronics, plumbing and other markets.

AIM acquired Summit in October 2014.
