MINNETONKA, MN – Circuit Check has been purchased by a Chicago-based private equity firm.
Tonka Bay Equity Partners sold the firm to North Branch Capital for an undisclosed sum.
Tonka Bay led the buyout of CCI in January 2007 in partnership with CEO Greg Michalko.
“Given their global leadership position in test solutions, in-circuit and functional test fixtures for printed circuit board manufacturers, compelling customer value proposition, and strong engineering focus, CCI proved to be a successful investment for Tonka Bay,” said Peter Kooman, partner at Tonka Bay. “Greg Michalko and his management team have done a tremendous job establishing the company as a leader in functional test systems.”
CCI manufactures test interfaces for electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
