TORONTO – Celestica reported fourth-quarter revenue of $1.52 billion, up 6% year-over-year and 8% sequentially.
Net income for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $12.1 million, compared to a net loss of $4.4 million in the same period the previous year.
"Celestica delivered revenue above our guidance range in the fourth quarter of 2015, driven primarily by strength in our storage and server markets," said Rob Mionis, Celestica's president and CEO. "We also achieved year-over-year improvements in free cash flow and return on invested capital. Despite a challenging environment, we reported solid financial and operating results for 2015, while continuing to invest in the business and returning over $400 million to shareholders through share repurchases during the year."
Revenue for 2015 was $5.6 billion, roughly flat compared to 2014. Net income was $66.9 million, down 38.2% year-over-year.
