Foxconn Nearing Agreement on Maharashtra Site

TALEGAON, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA -- Foxconn is considering a 1,000 acre plot here for a manufacturing campus, according to TV reports.
The world's largest EMS/ODM plans to apply to purchase the land in the next 30 days, CNBC-TV18 is reporting. Foxconn will pay roughly $59 per sq. meter for the site, where it will build phones and TVs.
No timetable for groundbreaking or opening has been disclosed.
