WIXOM, MI -- Industrial I/O OEM Acromag announced the formation of an electronics contract manufacturing division.

The unit will operate from Acromag's 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Wixom, and will be headed by contract manufacturing business development manager Stacy Moore.

The division offers PCB assembly to the commercial, industrial, aerospace, defense, telematics and automotive industries.

In a press release, Acromag called the new division a "natural expansion" of its current design and manufacturing Process Automation and Embedded Solutions Divisions.

The unit will offer SMT and through-hole assembly, RoHS and non-RoHS compliant manufacturing, component packages down to 0402, AOI, conformal coating, potting, test services, and box builds / turnkey assemblies.
