VANCOUVER -- Pacific Insight Electronics reported fiscal third quarter revenues of C$35 million, up 53% from a year earlier.

It was a record sales quarter for the EMS company.

The increase in revenues was the result of new LED interior lighting opportunities and a robust business climate for the company's transportation segment product lines.

For the quarter ended Mar. 31, the EMS firm recorded net income of C$3.18 million, up 242% from fiscal 2015.
