SAN JOSE, CA – Sanmina reported fiscal third quarter revenue ended July 2 of $1.67 billion, up 8.5% year-over-year and 3.7% sequentially.

GAAP net income in the third quarter was $29.5 million, up 20.7% compared to the same period a year ago.  GAAP operating income was $54.6 million, or 3.3% of revenue, compared to $47.3 million, or 3.1% of revenue, in the fiscal third quarter 2015.

For the nine month period ended July 2, net sales were $4.8 billion, up 16.3% year-over-year. Net income was $87 million, up 40.7%
compared to the same period last year. Operating income was $169.7 million, up 128.4% year-over-year.

For the fourth fiscal quarter ending Oct. 1, Sanmina expects revenue between $1.675 billion and $1.725 billion.
