CARLSBAD, CA — A new program teaching electronics assembly to military veterans and the public and large is being offered through the auspices of MiraCosta College.

The community college is working with the Veterans Association of North County and ViaSat on the program, which is aimed at ex-military personnel seeking jobs in electronics assembly.

The program costs $300 and will take place on Sundays from Sept. 11 through Dec. 18. Those who complete the curriculum will be allowed to sit for the IPC-A-610 certification exam.
