HERNDON, VA – On Sept. 28, iNEMI and Binghamton University will host a webinar on assessing the reliability of lead-free solder joints.

Binghamton University has completed a mechanistically justified model for the thermal fatigue of lead-free solder joints that allows for the generalization of observed trends. The webinar will review some of the leading issues related to testing lead-free solder joints and discuss the Binghamton University model.

Dr. Peter Borgesen, a professor of Systems Science & Industrial Engineering and a member of the Materials Science program at Binghamton University, will present the webinar.
