GLENVIEW, IL – Illinois Tool Works’ test & measurement and electronics segment reported third quarter revenue of $516 million, an increase of 5.3% year-over-year.

The segment’s operating income for the period ended Sept. 30 was $108 million, up 31.7% compared to the same quarter in 2015.

For the nine-month period ended Sept. 30, the segment posted total revenue of $1.5 billion, up 1.2% year-over-year. Operating income
was $274 million, an increase of 18.1% compared to the first nine months of 2015.
