MERIDIAN, IDAHO – Computrol has acquired Western Electronics for an undisclosed sum.

Computrol will merge the Western Electronics’ Meridian facility with its existing local facility, and operate the Denver facility under the Computrol name.

As a result of the acquisition, Computrol increases its cable and wire harness capabilities. Computrol will offer molded cable assemblies, RF, Coaxial, wire-harnesses, and mold making and machining.

The addition of the Denver facility also brings automated through-hole capabilities.

Western Electronics has won six Service Excellence Awards, and its Meridian plant is an authorized UL cabling/wire harness facility.
