WESTWOOD, MA – Chase Corp. reported revenue of $57.3 million for the fiscal quarter ended Feb. 28, up 4% year-over-year. Net income was $8.4 million, an increase of 20% compared to the same quarter of the prior year. Adjusted EBITDA increased 14% to $16.5 million.
For the six months ended Feb. 28, revenue increased 6% to $118.7 million year-over-year. Net income was $18.8 million, up 30% compared to the first six months of fiscal 2016. Adjusted EBITDA increased 20% to $35 million.
“Our Industrial Materials segment performed well in the quarter,” said president and CEO Adam P. Chase, “with sales increasing over the prior year second quarter. Last quarter’s Resin Designs acquisition delivered solid results, which added to organic growth contributions from our electronic and industrial coatings and pulling and detection products.”
Chase is parent of conformal coating company Humiseal.
