Enics to Refocus Raahe Plant, Lay Off 100

RAAHE, FINLAND -- Negotiations between Enics' subsidiary here and its workers union have concluded with about 100 layoffs.
Enics Raahe Oy will focus on ODM work and designing and manufacturing production testing equipment. It will shift its electronics manufacturing services to other Enics operations.
As a result of the plans, Enics will employ approximately 40 workers in Raahe and will lay off about 100 others, the company said.
