SVI Enjoys Big Q1

PATHUMTANI, THAILAND -- SVI Public Co. reported consolidated first-quarter revenue of 2.88 billion baht ($83.5 million), up 37% from a year ago.
Revenue was down 7% sequentially due to program delays.
Consolidated gross profit was 266 million baht, up 49%. Net income was up 544% to 174 million baht on higher volumes.
