MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The LED Assembly, Reliability and Testing Symposium will be held in Research Triangle Park, NC, Nov. 28 - 30.
The technical program features presentations on LED applications, packaging, failure mechanisms, LED solder joint reliability, and board processing with LEDs, plus a keynote presentation by Ralph Tuttle from Cree.
Three workshops include DFX for Advanced Soldering Technology, led by Ning-Cheng Lee, Ph.D., Indium; a half-day course by Martine Simard-Normandin, Ph.D., MuAnalysis, on Shining a Light on LED Technology: Construction, Reliability, Qualification, Failure Mode, and a half-day course titled Failure Mechanisms and Qualification Tests for LEDs by Diganta Das, Ph.D., CALCE, University of Maryland.
