NEUNKIRCHEN, GERMANY -- Neways Electronics has begun work on a 1,000 sq. m (10,763 sq. ft.) expansion of its EMS plant here.

The new building will add bring the total site area to 5,500 m² (59,000 sq. ft.). Construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-2018.

The new building will accommodate growth in orders and house new assembly lines for box-build services, the company said.
