SAN JOSE, CA – ASM Pacific Technology reported first quarter revenue of $198.3 million, an increase of 22.6% year-over-year and down 11.9% sequentially.

Segment profit for the quarter ended Mar. 31 was $25.6 million, up 17.7% compared to the same period last year and 11.3% sequentially.

SMT Solutions’ orders increased 40% year-over-year and 32.4% sequentially during the quarter.

The SMT Solutions unit includes Siplace and DEK.
