NANJING, CHINA – Foxconn plans to launch an R&D center here for about $720 million, according to reports.

The project covers an area of 3.8 hectares (38,000 sq. m.) and will focus on the development of intelligent terminal devices and smart wearable products.

Currently, about 450 employees work at the site’s temporary office.
