NEENAH, WI – Plexus reported fiscal third quarter revenue of $726.4 million, up 17.4% year-over-year and 4% sequentially.
Net income for the quarter ended June 30 was $26.5 million, an increase of 3.6% compared to the same quarter the previous year and 115.6% sequentially.
Operating income was $32.4 million, up 10.1% year-over-year and 87.4% compared to the fiscal second quarter of this year.
During the fiscal third quarter, Plexus won 45 manufacturing programs, representing $202 million in annualized revenue when fully ramped into production.
“Our fiscal third quarter revenue of $726 million marks the fourth consecutive quarter of record revenue and a 17% increase from the comparable quarter last fiscal year,” said Todd Kelsey, president and CEO. “We delivered higher than anticipated revenue associated with new program ramps, while navigating a challenging supply chain environment, resulting in lower than expected operating margin.”
The firm expects fiscal fourth quarter revenue of $735 million to $775 million.
For the three months ended June 30, cash flow from operations was $38.6 million. For the nine months ended June 30, cash flow from operations was $41.4 million.
