SANTA ANA, CA -- Ducommpn will shutter its contract electronics assembly plant in Phoenix later this year and relocate capacity to its facility in Huntsville, Arkansas by year-end.

"I want to recognize our Phoenix team for their professionalism," said Stephen Oswald, chairman, president and CEO.

The company holds a lease on the 100,000 sq. ft. Phoenix site through 2022.

The closing brings the number of EMS plants run by Ducommon to five, all in the Midwest and Southern US. The 69,000 sq. ft. plant in Huntsville was acquired as part of Ducommun's merger with LaBarge in 2011. That lease is due to expire in 2020, according to company filings.
