NELSON, BC, CANADA -- Pacific Insight will close its plant here and move all production to its facility in Mexico by the end of April, the company said.

The move comes in the wake of the purchase of Pacific Insight by Methode in 2017, which will transfer all commercial vehicle production to the firm's plant in Monterrey.

Pacific Insight did not say whether any workers would be kept on after the move. The site had 360 workers at one point, but is reportedly down to around 100 now.
