TAIPEI – Foxconn’s chairman Terry Gou is stepping down from daily operations, according to reports.

Gou will remain chairman, but says he plans to mentor younger staff to rise in the ranks.

He indicated plans to run for the presidency of Taiwan on a pro-business, pro-China platform.
