BEAVERTON, OR – Tektronix promoted Tami Newcombe to president.

Newcombe joined Tektronix in early 2017 as commercial president and has been responsible for leading global sales and marketing.

In her elevated role, Newcombe will report to Pat Byrne, who previously served as president and is currently senior vice president at Fortive.

"Tami is an experienced leader with a deep understanding of Tektronix' customers and products," said Byrne. "As commercial president, Tami delivered results, drove problem-solving and innovation and demonstrated a strong ability to attract and develop high-performing, customer-obsessed teams. We're excited about the continued impact she will make at Tektronix."

Newcombe has 25 years of experience at Fortune 500 technology companies. She was previously vice president for commercial sales at Cisco.
