WASHINGTON – IPC is hosting its annual US advocacy event May 21-22.

Executives from US electronic companies will join policymakers to discuss defense electronics, EPA regulations, workforce education and training, and the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) at Impact Washington, DC.

Members will meet with Reps. Jack Bergman (R-MI) and Lance Gooden (R-TX); Eric Ueland, deputy assistant to the president and deputy director of the White House Domestic Policy Council; Mike Molnar, director of the Office of Advanced Manufacturing (OAM) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST); Bart Meroney, senior advisor, Office of Manufacturing, International Trade Administration, US Dept. of Commerce; Henry Darwin, acting deputy administrator, US EPA; Scott Stump, assistant secretary for Technical, Career and Adult Education at the US Department of Education; majority and minority staff of the Senate Finance Committee and House Ways and Means Committee; former Indiana senator Joe Donnelly, who has worked with IPC and DoD on defense supply chain issues; and former Virginia congressman Tom Davis.

Participating member companies include Calumet Electronics; Chemcut; Eagle Circuits; Juki Automation Systems; Heller Industries; Lockheed Martin; Summit Interconnect; STI Electronics; TTM Technologies; Uyemura International; VirTex Enterprises; and Zentech Manufacturing.
