FREMONT, CA -- Zollner Electronics has added a 23,000 sq. ft. factory here, the German EMS company's second in the Silicon Valley.

The new site will be used for box build and ISO-capable cleanroom production.

Zollner has been located in nearby Milpitas since 2011, where it has a 50,267 sq. ft. plant. In a statement, the company said that site is full, and manufacturing space close by in Milpitas was not available.

The firm's new building is 4.7 miles away, and near the massive Telsa facility off I-880.

Zollner leased the new location in the Bayside Business Park. The 22,730 sq. ft. space includes a 30:70 ratio of office to manufacturing space.
