BLAUBEREN, GERMANY -- Rehm Thermal Systems has begun expanding its headquarters, adding facilities for administrative and product development.

The building is expected to be completed and inaugurated by 2020, when the company is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The new four-story building, which will be located next to the existing buildings, will have more than 1,500 m2 of office space, plus room for product development activities.

The maker of soldering equipment said healthy backlogs and positive future prospects have led to the expansion. Rehm expects to add to its current local workforce of more than 300 once the project is completed.
