Circuits Assembly Online Magazine - Semi Equipment Billings Plunged in Q2

MILPITAS, CA — Worldwide semiconductor manufacturing equipment billings in the second quarter fell 20% from a year ago to $13.3 billion, the SEMI trade group said today.

Sales were down 3% from the previous quarter.

The data are gathered jointly with the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan (SEAJ) from more than 80 global equipment companies that provide data on a monthly basis.
