HELSINKI – Incap Corp. signed an agreement to acquire AWS Electronics Group for an undisclosed sum.

AWS is an EMS provider with production facilities in the UK and Slovakia.

Incap currently has production facilities in Estonia and India. Through the acquisition, Incap will widen its portfolio into UK and Central Europe and strengthen its position in geographical areas such as the US and Southeast Asia.

AWS Electronics focuses on high-complexity EMS services for industrial controls, medical, automotive, aerospace, scientific instrumentation and controls.

In the financial year ended on June 30, AWS had revenue of GBP 35 million (approx. €41 million) and a staff of 436. The AWS business units will continue to run their operations as an independent unit within Incap.
