RALEIGH, NC – HZO said significant investments in R&D have resulted in 22 patents and patent-pending filings throughout multiple jurisdictions, including the US, China, and Europe.
Innovations introduced in the patent and patent-pending process include advancements in the process of precursor materials utilized in the application of protective coating; adaptation of multilayered coating applications; expansion in the use of plasma ashing, a process using various gases to remove materials from electronic circuitry without causing damage to the underlying components; breakthroughs in masking; strengthening the level of thin-film and nano-coating adhesion to components that receive protection; and application of laser technology.

These patent and patent-pending additions bring HZO’s total count of intellectual property assets to more than 370.
