NEVADA CITY, CA – The worldwide electronics assembly market consisted of approximately $1.3 trillion in terms of cost of goods sold as of 2019, says New Venture Research.

The market is recovering from the disruption of Covid-19, experiencing a sharp drop in revenue in the second quarter, with positive growth in the third quarter. Forecasts are for growth to return in 2021, the research firm added.

The worldwide electronics assembly market has experienced continuous growth over the last 20 years, stimulated by the trend to outsource electronics assembly to EMS and ODM companies, according to NVR.
