OLDENBURG, GERMANY – Straschu plans to close its contract assembly plant here at the end of November, according to local news media.

The fate of the more than 60 workers at the site is undisclosed. A director of the company told local media, “We will hold individual discussions with all employees in order to discuss the next steps and to try and find an amicable and socially acceptable solution for all parties.”

The Oldenburg campus has two factories, according to the company website, and also makes stencils under the name Rostock PCB.

The EMS plant in Stuhr will remain open.
