TAIPEI – Foxconn reported revenue of NT$420.6 billion ($14.2 billion) in August, up 5.5% year-over-year and 4.3% sequentially.

The figure was a record high for the month of August, as a result of sales growth in consumer electronics, components, computer peripherals and cloud computing businesses, according to reports.

Consumer electronics had the largest monthly increase, while computer peripherals posted the largest annual increase.

For the first eight months of 2020, Foxconn reported revenue of NT$2.9 trillion, down 4.4% year-over-year.

The company expects third quarter revenue higher than the second quarter but lower than the same period in 2019.
