ROUND ROCK, TX -- East/West Manufacturing will invest more than $5 million toward a new electronics manufacturing facility here, with the plans to be open by next August.
The Austin-based EMS company is targeting a site at 1974 Steam Way in Round Rock for a new 43,000 sq. ft. building.
The company will also put more than $650,000 into business personal property, according to an agreement signed with the city.
Under terms of the deal, the company will relocate 30 full-time jobs currently in Travis County and create 30 new ones over five years. Per the agreement, the company will pay an average salary for these positions of $50,000. In return, Round Rock will grant certain incentives and subsidies to the company.
