SOFIA, BULGARIA – Sanmina purchased Osram’s plant here for the production of digital lighting components, according to reports.

Sanmina is expected to retain the plant’s 800 employees.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The factory produces LED drivers, lighting management systems and traditional control gear.
