MILWAUKIE, OR – Tara Fischer is now the exclusive owner and president of ECD, a move that was finalized in late 2020.

Since 2015, Fischer has co-owned ECD with a former employee. She has worked alongside ECD’s more than 150 global employees and distribution partners during the past several months.

“I’m really excited about what the future holds for ECD, our incredible team and our customers,” said Fischer. “While 2020 was challenging, it was also an opportunity to focus on internal process refinement, improved go-to-market initiatives, a reenergized company culture, new product development and market expansion.  All told, the past 12 months have been some of the most successful in ECD history.

“I’ve worked in just about every role in the business and am the first to pitch in for anything that needs attention – from long-term strategic planning to shipping products and entering orders. I believe good leaders should understand every facet of the company through personal engagement, and I’d like to think modeling that behavior has had a small part in developing the close and committed team we have at ECD. I have no doubt that our best years lie ahead.”
