CHILI, NY – IEC Electronics is purchasing and renovating an 86,000 sq. ft. factory here, according to reports. The $5.8 million expansion will create 150 new full-time jobs.

Renovations are set to begin soon, with operations beginning by July.

As part of the project, County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency provided sales and mortgage recording tax exemptions.

“This location will serve to consolidate our specialty metals operation, along with an expanded electronic assembly operation," said president and CEO Jeff Schlarbaum.

IEC Electronics provides PCB assembly, cable and wire harness assembly and precision metalworking for the medical, industrial, aerospace and defense industries.
