MASON, OH -- Intervala today announced it has acquired certain assets of NeoTech's manufacturing business in here.

The acquisition expands Intervala’s global customer base through the addition of several top-tier customers in the medical device and industrial markets, the electronics manufacturing services company said in a press release. Terms were not disclosed.

Intervala intends to gradually move the Mason business, which focuses on low-to-medium-volume, higher-mix electronics production, to its existing manufacturing locations in the greater Pittsburgh and Boston regions.

NeoTech acquired the Mason operations from Epic Technologies in October 2013. 

Intervala, which is privately hel;d and does not release its financials, was created in 2016 through the acquisition of a former Ducommun (LaBarge) plant in Pittsburgh, supplemented by smaller deals for Princeton Technology and Varitron's plant in Hudson, NH. It also announced the pending expansion of its headquarters and factory in the Pittsburgh area.
