MUNICH – Katek reported revenue for the first half of 2021 was €271 million (US$317.5 million), an increase of 48.5% year-over-year. Organic growth was 27.1%, mainly driven by renewables/solar and eMobility.
Net profit for the six months ended June 30 was €7.8 million, up 223.1% compared to the first half of 2020. EBITDA was €17.7 million, growth of 131.7%.
The book-to-bill ratio was 1.5, and the company ended the period with a high order backlog.
For 2021, Katek expects revenue of €535 million to €560 million and EBITDA of €27 million to €33 million.
