iNEMI to Hold Call-for-Participation Webinar on Benefits of AI for AOI of PCBAs
MORRISVILLE, NC – iNEMI is holding a call-for-participation webinar Oct. 13 and 14 for its new project on artificial intelligence enhancement to AOI for printed circuit board assemblies.
The project will look into the benefits that AI may bring to AOI of PCB assemblies. The webinar will investigate the current use of AI for AOI, develop and establish common performance metrics to evaluate the AI value-add to AOI capabilities, and provide recommendations to the industry on opportunities for future improvement and implementation.
iNEMI’s goal for this project is to drive inspection efficiency and accuracy and, at the same time, leverage AI-enhanced technologies to reduce manual inspection verification and mitigate the defect escape risk.
