TAIPEI – Foxconn reported record-high 2021 consolidated sales of NT$5.9 trillion (US$214.9 billion), up 10.9% year-over-year.
Revenue growth in the consumer smart division was higher than electronics components, and computer and cloud-based connectivity experienced similar revenue as 2020, according to reports. Server shipments accounted for NT$1 trillion in revenue.
The company reported NT$660.7 billion in December consolidated sales, down 7.4% year-over-year and up 6.3% sequentially. December sales were boosted by strong demand in data center and consumer electronics devices.
For the fourth quarter, the firm posted NT$1.8 trillion in consolidated sales, a 30.6% increase sequentially. Fourth quarter sales were driven by the iPhone 13; Foxconn accounts for 65-70% of overall assembly.
