SVI Public Co. Turns in Stellar Q2

PATHUMTANI, THAILAND -- SVI Public Co. reported consolidated second quarter revenue of$170 million, up 56% from a year ago and 4.3% higher sequentially.
The EMS company said gross profit for the period ended June 30 rose 60% to $14.4 million, while net income was up 155% to $12.3 million. Gross profit margin for the period was 8.3%, up from 8/1% a year ago and 7.1% in the first quarter.
