PEACHTREE CITY, GA – APRIL 25, 2023 – Presentations on designing for ESD robustness, printed circuit board cost drivers, and preventing common errors caught by fabrication are among the free seminars at PCB East in May, the Printed Circuit Engineering Association announced today.

The conference will be held May 9 to 12 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel and Conference Center in Boxborough, MA. It features classes for every level of experience, from novice to expert. “Free Wednesday,” which takes place May 10, includes a full day of free technical talks from notable experts such as Dan Beeker of NXP Semiconductor, Dave Hoover of TTM Technologies and Ray Fugitt of DownStream Technologies.

Beeker, the technical director for NXP Semiconductor, will speak twice: on high-speed design and on effective methods for designing the spaces which will increase the overall robustness and immunity of a PCB. Another highlight is a panel session covering the design, fabrication, assembly and IC packaging supply chain and moderated by Peter Cerbone of Cisco.

“This is an outstanding cross-section of design, fabrication and assembly topics, all made available at no charge to exhibition registrants,” said Mike Buetow, conference director, PCB East. “It’s a great complement to the exhibition on May 10, which features more than 50 leading suppliers of electronics design tools, manufacturers of bare boards and assemblies, and suppliers of fabrication and assembly equipment and materials.”
