SAINT-HERBLAIN, FRANCE – Lacroix has temporarily closed three of its manufacturing facilities after suffering a cyberattack over the weekend.

The company's factory in Beaupréau, France, as well as a site in Willich, Germany, and a factory in Zibra, Tunisia were all compromised during the attack, but the company said the breach has been contained and a plan is in place to reopen the factories next week.

"Even if it is still too early to know exactly when production will resume, LACROIX is aiming for a reopening on Monday May 22nd," Lacroix said in a statement. "Until then, partial activity measures have been taken as well as the implementation of a management and restart plan adapted to each site."

Louis Pourdieu, general manager of the Electronics EMEA activity, with the support of his teams, is also informing customers and suppliers about the closure and the conditions for restarting these sites, the company said.

Lacroix said the three sites represent 19% of the company's total sales in 2022. This Thursday is a public holiday in France and Germany, meaning the factories there would have only been active for three days, so the company said it does not predict a significant impact to production.
