STOCKHOLM – Mycronic reported second-quarter sales of SEK1.25 billion ($1.22 billion), a 2% decrease from last year's second quarter.

For the first half of the year, sales increased by 2% to total SEK2.46 billion ($2.4 billion). For 2023 as a whole, the company's projects sales of SEK5.5 billion ($5.37 billion).

"Order intake was strong during the second quarter, with an increase of 45%, driven by a very good performance in Pattern Generators," said President and CEO Anders Lindqvist. "EBIT amounted to SEK 170 million, despite around SEK 60 million in costs during the quarter linked to business development projects."
